Witsqa and Marcus’s love story began with a little help from fate—and a mutual friend who invited Marcus to a café in Bali on June 21, 2023. Witsqa was nervously preparing for her first singing gig when Marcus walked in and he couldn’t resist saying a simple “Hi.” That “Hi” led to a heartfelt conversation, and they felt an instant connection. They clicked so naturally, laughing and chatting until it was time for Witsqa to sing. Marcus unknowingly took a front-row seat to what would become the start of a life-changing moment. As she sang, Marcus was completely captivated, not just by her voice but by her energy and presence. One special night turned into days of exploring Bali together, sharing stories, laughter, and discovering all they had in common. Although they came from different worlds, their connection deepened, and Marcus, after two months knowing each other, made the bold decision to move to Bali to be with her. Truly, “when you know, you know.” As their relationship grew, Marcus embraced both Witsqa’s culture and her faith, eventually choosing to convert to Islam, a meaningful step that deeply moved Witsqa and her family. When the moment came to ask her family for their blessing, Marcus gave an incredibly moving proposal, leaving everyone—including himself—in heartfelt tears. His words of love and respect for Witsqa and her roots touched the entire family. Now, Witsqa and Marcus look forward to building a future together in both Bali and Sweden, making memories, fulfilling each other’s dreams, and cherishing the beautiful journey they have begun.
